We Deserve More: Why Settling Isn’t an Option
The status quo is not enough. We must do better. Not just for ourselves, but for all communities. True advocacy means pushing beyond "what’s always been done" to build systems that reflect our diversity - our cultures, our languages, our lived experiences. We believe that every story, every perspective adds value in building a better and more inclusive future.

Transcript: We can always do better than the status quo. The status quo is not good enough. We need to move forward and into the future, we need to not fight just to keep the status quo, but we need to continue to push for better care for all of these different populations while also recognizing that we are all diverse, we have different cultures, we have different linguistic backgrounds, we have different life and lived experiences, and that’s the beauty in our advocacy work. All of our lived experiences make us experts, and we should recognize and applaud ourselves for being able to make change at the local level, advocating, and educating, while at the same time bringing together and coming together with people of different lived experiences for a better future.
